Young People That Love the Lord!

Our teens are spiritually focused, close knit, hard working, and, of course, fun loving.

Far too often teens get set aside in congregations.  In 1 Timothy 5, Paul instructed Timothy to make sure that no demographic in the church was neglected.  Included in this were "young men," "young women," as well as "children and grandchildren" (vs. 1, 2, 4).  Today, we call most people of this age, "teens."  The whole goal of youth ministry is not to take over, but to assist parents in the spiritual training and growth of their teens and families.  Together, we can bring up strong young Christian men and women.

The youth group here at Bear Valley is an active part of this vibrant congregation.  Throughout the year, there are countless ways to get involved.  Spiritual activities, service projects, evangelistic opportunities, and Bible classes all help to strengthen the faith of the teens and teach them to serve the Lord and others.  Our teens are spiritually focused, close knit, hard working, and, of course, fun loving.  Every teenager that walks through our doors is welcome.  We hope and pray you will take advantage of this great opportunity.  After all, there are few things as important as "training our children in the way they should go" (Proverbs 22:6).
